Western inspired style is as American as apple pie, and I love how the trend has been re-interpreted year after year, from haute couture all the way to the high street. Inspired by everything we imagine cowboys looked and dressed like once upon a time, the trend takes elements of the clothing worn outside on long summer days and designed for the realities of a life lived outdoors — whether it be on horseback, working on farms… or renegading on the run, if you love an Old Time Western tale 🤠 Today, I’m partnering with fashion retailer Free People to put together a summer time Western-inspired look of my own and highlighting each piece for you guys to shop if you love them as much as I do!
1. utility button-up shirt
2. denim shorts
It was HOT and humid out when I wore this look out, and I know that Western fashion tends to favor heavier, durable fabrics… so you may be thinking this trend isn’t for you this summer. However, I love each piece that I picked for this look because they’re all SUPER airy and breathable… which is right up Free People‘s style ethos. There’s never a wrong time to wear a button-up short, jeans and/or boots.. as long as you’re picking fits and silhouettes to match the occasion. The yeehaw agenda is in full force this summer guys, so get on board!
3. western boots
How are you guys styling your Western-inspired looks this summer? xx
