Over the past few seasons, we’ve lived through a journey of color-driven trends from dopamine dressing, to Viva Magenta, and most recently, the more sophisticated pop of red. But now, fashion trends are pointing towards an old reliable neutral – a deep, rich shade of chocolate brown. It’s the perfect color to replace your typically black pieces with, in order to give your look a fashionable boost — think oversized leather jackets, chelsea boots, and statement belts.
Dark brown looks great with just about everything, but especially crisp white tees, light wash denim, or other hues of brown for a neutral monochromatic look. By the looks of the most recent runways, fashion houses have unanimously agreed that shades of brown offer a softer alternative to the traditional black staples, infusing a timeless elegance into every look.
