Growing up, art class was always my absolute favorite time of day in school… and for what it’s worth, I was actually pretty good at it too! “Was” being very much the key word here… I haven’t picked up a paint brush in years, so it’s safe to assume I’m probably still stuck at a 3rd grade level when it comes to anything fine arts related.
One of the best things about social media, and Instagram in particular, is how much access we have to see, share and appreciate artistic talent from all over the world. My love of visual aesthetics is part of what inspired me to start this blog in the first place, so I was so happy to see that what I’ve been working on so far has also inspired other creative minds as well.
