Returning back to work after a long weekend of R&R means lots of catch-up needing to be done… along with lots of new content in the pipeline for you guys! A lot of you probably don’t know, but I had a very quiet birthday celebration up in D.C. over the weekend (thus my brief absence from the interwebs), and it was just REALLY nice to step away from my screens and live in the moment for my own self… more on that soon.

Even though I did absolutely NO work over the long weekend, there was no way that my birthday outfit was going to happen without me sharing it with you guys because I’m still obsessed with it. My love for rose embroidered details is still at an all-time high, and of course the only way to make florals work for a night out is working it with this olive green skirt from Self Portrait that I’ve been obsessed with for ages! Since winter decided to make a brief return over the weekend, I rolled out my olive peacoat to top everything off
