The Velvet Blazer: Your Best Excuse to Suit Up

Holiday party season is in full swing with Christmas around the corner, and if there’s one reason you need to rock a blazer right now, it’s definitely for your next soiree out on the town! If there’s one thing I’ve been seeing a lot of this holiday season, it’s the velvet blazer, and I’m obsessed with it! Forest green is one of my favorite colors to wear in the winter — definitely my go-to jewel tone if I had to pick just one, so when I found this blazer at Versona, I was totally sold! You guys may recall when I partnered with Versona earlier this year to style a Fall look, so I’m super excited to share my Versona holiday look with you today too!

Pairing my velvet blazer with a lace top and my favorite pair of faux leather pants, I dressed this look down with my favorite sneakers for a comfy-chic daytime look. You can definitely transition right into an evening look by switching out your sneaks for your favorite black pumps… which is exactly what I did when I went to my friend’s birthday dinner later that night!
