Blue makeup looks are back, and I’ve been working on perfecting mine. Although my everyday style of choice tends to lean towards being more minimal, I couldn’t help but feel that a blue eyeshadow glam would perfectly complement my look for Proenza Schouler’s SS25 show (watch my review here). I went for a smokey spin on the look, but there are so many ways to play with blue eyeshadow. For a daring look, use a rich royal blue across your lids and finish with winged liner for a dramatic effect. If you’re aiming for something softer or more casual, a wash of a less pigmented icy blue can give a fresh, airy vibe. You can also go for the mod look with a defined pastel blue lid and extra voluminous black lashes (à la Twiggy).
