Summer Classics

To me, the best outfits are always the ones that take basic wardrobe staples and kick them up a notch with noteworthy details, cutouts and/or patterns. Such was the case as soon as I laid eyes on this skirt that manages to combine just about every detail you could want for easy weekend-wear: thigh-high slits, feminine bow details and pom-poms (because let’s be honest, if I’m gonna do pom poms you bet they’re gonna be all black).

Topping it off with a super simple t-shirt was the only way to go, before I headed out to brunch at one of my favorite spots in town… but that’s another story for another time 😉
