Classic Pants for Work & Play

Honestly, there are very few ways I’d rather spend my morning than sipping and tasting my way through one of my favorite bakery shops! I spent my last weekend visiting my friend in Washington D.C. and we discovered the cutest bakery right by her house, which made for a great spot to spend my day working… and eating, of course.

Rocking a full outfit from Ann Taylor in today’s look… you guys know that I love a look that goes form work to play, and these pants are the perfect addition to both my 9 to 5 wardrobe, as well as to any casual daytime look. Nothing says “spring” more than a classic pinstripe, making for a look that’s more ready for higher temps than the weather currently is. For the longest time, Ann Taylor has one of my go-tos for comfortable pants… partly because most of their Tall pants come with longer inseams (an absolute necessity for a 5’9″) girl like me… but especially because they’re super comfortable to spend the day in — eating cake, optional!
