3 Trends from DIOR SS23 That'll Be Huge Next Season

The Christian Dior SS23 show was one of the highlights of Paris Fashion Week, and the runway looks are giving us a sneak peek of what’s to come in fashion.

Taking inspiration from Catherine de Medici and Parisian cartography, Maria Grazia Churi’s latest collection for Dior was absolutely stunning and so special to see in person. After several seasons of modern inspo and re-imagined menswear pieces made for the every day woman, Dior’s return to romantic feminine silhouettes was really beautiful to see! From corsets, platform shoes and lace embellishments, Dior‘s incredible savoir faire was put on full display — a reminder of what makes the everywoman fall in love with the brand in the first place.

Let’s run through the top three runway trends I noticed on the runway, and I’m also sharing pieces you can incorporate into your wardrobe now to get ahead of the trends!

1. figure-hugging corset tops

The flattering body-sculpting piece isn’t just made for elegant evening-wear anymore! Today’s modern corset can be paired with jeans or layered under a blazer or jacket, to bring feminine elegance to your every day looks.

2. embellished, opulent denim

Get ready to dress up your denim! Your favorite jeans are getting a style overhaul with embroidery, crystals, and even sequin embellishments. Statement denim is going to be huge next season.

3. sky-high platform shoes

Platforms aren’t going anywhere anytime soon, so if you’re loving those extra inches — they’re still here to stay! Platforms aren’t just for pumps either; sneakers and boots are leveling up as well.
