It’s not often that I pull out a pair of stilettos, but when I do — I make it count! Today’s casual-but-dressed-up outfit is a combination of wardrobe classics, styled with a twist… and my head-to-toe look is all from Saks Fifth Avenue. I wore this out to dinner with friends in Brooklyn earlier this week, and I loved the look so much that I had to share it with you! As I’m sure you know, Saks Fifth Avenue is a premiere destination for all things luxury fashion — so if while my look is definitely on the higher end today, there’s never any harm in treating yourself to something special this summer… I think we all deserve it every now and then!

First of all, I’ve been on the market for a great basket bag for quite a while, and this one from Loewe is better than anything else I could’ve asked for. It’s really spacious, but not overwhelmingly large — making it the perfect everyday summer bag for casual days out. A button-up shirt and shorts combination is always a classic, and to beat the summer heat I opted for a crisp silk shirt and flared pleated shorts to keep cool and comfortable even though it all still looks so tailored and fitted to perfection. What do you guys think?
