For Love & Lemons

We all have that one item we’ve been bookmarking for days, months, years(?)… just waiting for that serendipitous moment when you’re going about your day as usual, and stumble across it for the perfect price. Usually the item isn’t exactly made for every day wear, but pieces like these that are made for special moments are they’re the things that define your personal style, don’t you think? That item for me has been the beautiful Antigua maxi dress, and the moment was the For Love and Lemons sale that launched on Gilt.com a couple weeks ago (there are still some pieces waiting to be snatched up, including this dress!). So yeah… my $300 dream dress for under $100? Absolute no-brainer. 

I’ve been a long-time admirer of For Love & Lemons dresses — the intricate lace detailing and easy boho vibes always make their website one of my first destinations whenever I’m browsing for new goodies online. While I’ll be saving this dress for spring and summer events next year, for the purpose of this post I put a Fall twist on the outfit  – dressing it down with black leather details for a rocker vibe.
