Hello, hello! I feel like I’ve been away from here for a minute, partly because of phone issues, and mostly because of my North Carolina trip to Sugar Creek TreeHouse with Glamping Hub that I’m SO excited to share with you guys soon! In the meantime though, let’s chat about today’s look…
We all have that one item of clothing (or two) that we tend to shy away from, because we think that it’s not built for our body types. For me, that one item of clothing has ALWAYS been the plunging neckline. I’ve always loved how they look on smaller-busted girls and for the longest time, I wished that I could make my favorite deep-V dresses look just as effortless as other girls do without looking too “out there”! But the fact of the matter is, when it came to trying on those dresses and tops for myself, I always ended up looking anything BUT effortless. I’m sure you know what I mean, right? I’m talking about strapping the girls up with multiple layers of uncomfortable double-sided fashion tape, going back and forth on that super weird “Instagram bra” that’s EVERYWHERE right now (sorry though, not falling for it) and other stupid “hacks” that never worked, smh. The struggle is real, ladies, and I’m sure a LOT of you know exactly what I’m talking about!
All that hassle, until I came across the holy grail bra, that’s been flying under the radar a lot more than it should for some reason: the Wonderbra Deep Plunge bra. Admittedly, I did have to go through a couple of sizes to find the right fit, but when I did, it was PERFECT. It lifts, shapes and best of all, it’s invisible under my favorite deep-plunging neckline dresses!
I’ve actually had this Reformation dress for a while, and these photos are the result of my THIRD time shooting it (hashtag-blogger-problems). The first two times were before I wore it with the bra, and while those photos will never see the light of day — trust me when I say that the bra makes all the difference. And guess what? I’m not even being paid to share this with you, so you know I’m being 100% for real! Are there any other fashion hacks that you guys have tried that have worked? Feel free to share them below and help a girl out!
