Here are my top 3 holiday glam looks for this season and the products you need to create them…
With so much upcoming face time with loved ones, you may be lacking inspiration for the perfect glam looks to complement your holiday looks. Whether you’re looking for inspo for a cozy Friendsgiving, Christmas morning in snow filled mountains, or futuristic glam for New Year’s Eve, I’ve got you covered with my top 3 favorite holiday glam looks I think we’ll be seeing this winter.
Snow bunny or not, this simple and flushed look is flattering on every skin tone. It’s super easy to achieve with a minimal amount of products, and depending on their formulations, even just one multiurpose product can do the whole job. For instance, this cult favorite tint from Benefit can be used on your eyes, cheeks, and lips. I’m linking a few other multi-use blush formulas below. Since we’ll be keeping the eye area pretty bare, you may want to define your brows with your favorite closest-to-your-natural-hair colored pencil, or a clear wax for a laminated wind-blown effect. Finish off with faux freckles or emphasize your own for a skin-forward look.
Finish off with a brown mascara for length and volume that perfectly pulls the look together. Brown toned multipurpose palettes are perfect for coffee inspired glam because you can utilize the shadows in more ways than one, like by wetting the tip of an angled brush for a customizable liner. With most of the emphasis of this look on your eyes and cheeks, you can choose to stick to a nude “no lip” lip or bring the brown all the way down with a rich chocolatey shade. Keep it matte or turn the shine up by layering using a tinted gloss like this fan favorite from Summer Fridays.
I love a metallic beat because you can choose how high you want to raise the bar. Holographic lids are a breeze no matter your skill level, but if you want to go the extra mile and get crafty, this is a great look to experiment your artistic skills with. Stick to silvers and golds or use complementary colors to highlight your features – like orange to make blue eyes pop, or purple to bring out green hues. Finish off with glitter or tinsel falsies to take the look to the next level. Consider this an extension of Y2k Futurism.
