Rounding out the Holidays with Mall of Georgia

Ahhhh, we’re here you guys! It’s the last, last LAST day of 2016 — which means that holiday season is coming to a close, and we’re gearing up to hit the ground running in 2017! Can you believe how quickly time has flown? It’s incredible; so much has happened over the last twelve months, some good, some bad — but I think that we can all agree that the one thing we’ve got is each other, and all we can do every day is keep the ones we love close and taking steps towards achieving our dreams every day… life is too short!
To round out Millennielle’s 2016 story, I partnered with Mall of Georgia to share my holiday shopping experience and end the year on a high note with a special giveaway! I know that we’ve all spent tons of time over the past several weeks shopping — whether it was finding the perfect gift for a loved one, or taking advantage of the hundreds of sales that have been flying at us all season long. I actually did quite a bit of my own holiday shopping out at Mall of Georgia; even though it’s a 40 minute drive from where I live closer to town, it was really nice to escape the crazy city traffic and still get a complete holiday shopping experience in a much more laid-back, relaxed atmosphere.
Mall of Georgia has a lot of my favorite stores, but one of the things I loved about my trip was discovering a couple hidden gems that we can’t find in Atlanta. We dropped into Lizard Thicket, a super cute boutique with lots of affordable knits and accessories that are perfect for the winter season. I’m currently eyeing this adorable lace-up sweatshirt right now — I love the muted plum color, and the details are super on-trend right now. If you happen to swing by Lizard Thicket to do some shopping this Winter, make sure you say hi to Tracie and let her know I sent you in ?
After a full day of window shopping, gift-buying and changing room fittings, we stopped by the new Aliño Pizzeria that JUST opened at the mall this month! If you’re a sucker for the super-thin and tasty Neapolitan style of pizza… or if you wanna watch their team do some fancy pizza tosses up in the air, this is definitely the best way to end an afternoon of ducking in and out of the shops. With fresh ingredients imported straight from Naples, Italy you’re gonna get a very authentic dining experience that your tastebuds will remember!
