One of this year’s best bag releases: introducing the Miu Miu Joie Bag!

Fresh off the runway is the reimagined Miu Miu Joie Bag, recovered and reinterpreted from Miu Miu’s ’06 archive, and offering 4 new styles in the same buttery soft nappa leather. The relaunch is a nostalgic revival for Y2k fashion lovers, and emphasizes Miu Miu’s chic and playful aesthetic. The silhouettes are soft, with rounded corners giving each style a sort of relaxed feminine shape, and the antique colored gold hardware balances it out with some edge. All of this, and of course, its vintage vibe and appeal, makes it one of the most coveted releases of the year.

I bought mine earlier this year back in May, before the bag even got it’s name — so my version of the bag is a little different: an embossed logo, instead of gold hardware logo… and the leather on mine is less glossed and more “beaten” for more of a vintage look. I absolutely LOVED the bag as soon as I saw it, and I’m so glad Miu Miu has turned it into a staple in the brand’s handbag collection!
