New York Fashion Week SS26: Everything I Wore

Another fashion week for the books! Let’s take a look at what we saw on the NYFW SS26 runways.
This season at New York Fashion Week, structure met flow in a way that set the tone for the way we’ll be dressing for spring. Sharp tailoring was softened with fluid movement, from structured outerwear and cinched waists to relaxed slip silhouettes. The overall vibe was sort of mismatched, but equally balanced and put together.
Khaite kept it classic with ivory and an emphasis on a deep navy color. Sergio Hudson’s palette was much brighter and bolder, featuring gem tones and colorful sequins. Jason Wu, Monse, and Altuzarra all included neutrals and cool toned metallics. It all worked together to make SS26 feel fluid and adaptable.
Want to achieve this season’s aesthetic with your own wardrobe? Start by recreating that tension between ease and structure by pairing something flowy with something structured. Think a slinky slip dress under an oversized blazer, or exaggerated wide-leg trousers balanced by a crisp, fitted poplin shirt. Look for pieces that move fluidly, whether it’s silk, organza, or light cotton, and anchor them with shapely layers to ground the look’s softness.
