This summer, short suit sets are everywhere and in every color — the trick in wearing them is all about the styling, and I found a great pair of shoes to do just that!
You guys know I’m all about athleisure, and you’re bound to find me in a comfortable pair of sneakers before you catch me in stiletto heels. It’s no surprise then, that when Nike released the new Air Max 270 React sneakers, I had to get my hands on them… especially since I can always do with another pair of shoes that I can walk in while traveling! These were the perfect pair of sneakers to wear with my suit shorts set, because the shoes gave my outfit it’s signature street style edge.

My favorite part of the sneakers is the mesh paneling across the top, making them super breathable… a survival essential while I was in New Orleans for Essence Fest! We spent one of our early mornings exploring the French Quarter, having a super early breakfast at Café du Monde before the tourist rush, and checking out the amazing vintage shops for little mementos that I could bring home with me. I’ll be sharing some of my favorite spots around the city soon, stay tuned!
