Office Party

coco's style8 years ago

Not all of us have the luxury of taking the entire holiday season off, and for people like me who know of the the annual tradition that is the office holiday party — you know exactly where this post is going. Today we’re putting a spin on holiday fashion, and talking about work-wear! Like the suit set I’m wearing today, lots of bouclé fabrics are interwoven with minimal sequins and metallic threads, and it makes for a great way to add a little bit of glitz to your outfit without going overboard or looking too crazy at work.

If you think the sheer bodysuit doesn’t work – think again! Subtle is the keyword here — Buttoning up the jacket indoors (or leaving the jacket open and wearing a cami underneath the bodysuit) is perfect for a professional setting, and simply losing the jacket for after-hours events takes you from day to night seamlessly. For someone like me with a schedule that doesn’t give me enough time to go home after work for an outfit change before heading back out for evening events, simple transitions like these save me a TON of time (and gas $$, ha!).

Shop this look below, and more work-appropriate fashion here.
