Pantone Color of the Year | Radiant Orchid

This past week, Pantone announced the 2014 Color of the Year: Radiant Orchid. How pretty is it? The gorgeous mix of fuschia, purple and pink, is very unique, and I for one am looking forward to seeing it rule the runways next year!
Here is the official statement Pantone made about the radiant orchid: “While the 2013 color of the year, Pantone 17-5641 Emerald, served as a symbol of growth, renewal and prosperity, Radiant Orchid reaches across the color wheel to intrigue the eye and spark the imagination. Radiant Orchid inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health. It is a captivating purple, one that draws you in with its beguiling charm.“
Confidence, joy, love and health? Sounds like everything I want my next twelve months to be full of; I might even start wearing the color as a good luck charm!! 🙂 Here are some of my current obsessions featuring the new “it” shade. How do you plan on sporting the color of the year in 2014?
