My Paris Fashion Week AW23 Street Style & Outfit Recap

À bientôt, Paris — Cheers to my best PFW season yet!
I love having the opportunity to come to Paris a few times a year, especially to support fashion houses and brands that I love, shop and wear so often! For PFW AW23, we saw a definite slow down of the pink sensation that took over 2022, but a continuation of cargo must-haves and a few more trend predictions we lined up earlier this year.

akris
This season, Akris pulled a lot of inspiration from the ’70s. Checked patterns, thick wool blazers, bell bottoms, and accentuated collars were all in heavy rotation. I loved the shearling pieces and that it didn’t look similar to other collections I’ve seen this season.
stella mccartney
This season’s Stella McCartney show was beautiful! It was equestrian inspired and took place at the oldest riding school in Paris. Stella is famously known for using zero animal by-products in her production, most recently saying “There is so much leather, fur and feathers on these runways, particularly in winter. I just wanted to show that you could show animals in a different way.” You can check out my footage from the show here.

If you know me, you know I’m BIG on Hermès. It was such an honor to attend this season’s show, which was full of rich, monochromatic looks, and functional luxury pieces. The brand also dipped their toes into evening-wear, and it was so stunning in its simplicity! Watch me unbox my newest purchase here, and watch me get ready for the show here!
dior
This season’s Dior show was a tribute to Christian’s sister, Catherine Dior. She was a major inspiration for the garments, as she’s best known for embodying feminine looks and characteristics, and truly being Miss Dior from head to toe. We saw 1950’s silhouettes and a plethora of florals, a motif that has been dear to the brand since its beginnings. Watch some of my finale footage here.
