Bringing Quarantine Comfort into Summer Style

I

It’s officially Summer…

…and it’s hot as hell! Silly me, who signed my NYC apartment lease in the middle of February did not notice that my apartment unit isn’t equipped with air conditioning… and so now my fan has become my best friend 😅 Let’s see if I can make it through the summer without caving and paying for an AC install myself!

I know that for the majority of the year, being stuck at home has forced us to limit our “style” to sweats, leggings and pajamas… but there’s no reason not to bring in these elements of quarantine comfort into our outdoor daily wear too! If you haven’t noticed lately, I’ve been all about breezy flowy dresses because they’re still dressy and so easy to wear. This dress from LaDoubleJ was a gift from the brand, and I love the feminine print.

p.s. don’t forget your mask if you’re headed outside! Things might be opening up, but it’s still all of our jobs to stop the spread.

Another p.s. because I know a lot of you asked about my Chanel bag – it’s from the 2011 Cruise collection! And it’s also amazingly affordable if you want to get your hands on some designer accessories this summer thanks to Vivrelle: a luxury accessories, members-only club providing access to borrow designer handbags, jewelry, watches and diamonds starting at just $99/month. Their accessory collection is incredible, and it’s such an affordable way to elevate your quarantine comfort looks at a budget-friendly price. Use promo code Coco Bassey to move to the top of the waitlist! xx
