Literally a few weeks away before the ball drops into 2018, and we all know that the only question that follows after “what are you doing for NYE?” is the evergreen question of “what are you wearing?” — In fact, if you’re anything like me and my friends, you probably already have a multi-page Whatsapp thread running, discussing this very topic right now! I can also bet my bottom dollar that someone’s probably responded, “just jeans and a nice top” … you know it’s true, don’t you?

There’s no better time to make a statement than the first moment of the new year, and I love taking look to the extreme with shiny, glittery fabrics, cozy oversized coats… and anything else that says I’m dressed and ready for my best year yet! This look, perfect for any New Years’ Eve occasion, is under $150 and from one of my high street favorites: H&M.
