Red Velvet

Two major trends rolled into one make for the perfect late summer outfit today: 90’s-style slip dresses and super soft velvet fabrics. I picked out this dress from Free People a couple weeks ago, and it’s quickly becoming my go-to wardrobe piece for evenings out! If you haven’t already started picking up hints here and there, you’re officially reading it here first: Velvet is about to make a serious comeback this season, and there are so many ways to wear it — starting with chokers and shoes, but slowly creeping into the rest of our wardrobe too!

So the verdict’s in: Red velvet? Great to eat, even better to wear
