Simple & Sweet Green Juice

Here I am, back with another recipe… but guess what? It’s one that actually WON’T leave you feeling guilty after baking and devouring it at one go 😉
In line with my 2014 fitness goals, I want to share my favorite green juice recipe with you. It’s seriously just as refreshing and energizing as a cup of coffee in the morning… and way more nutritious. And here’s another bonus – it actually tastes good! For those of you (myself included) who find yourselves falling a little short of your daily veggie intake from time to time, this definitely gives you the boost you need. I don’t even bother getting too fancy with the ingredients… one day, I just used whatever I had in my fridge and pantry, and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste outcome, so now I make my juice this way all the time! It all comes together very quickly, so I like making one of these right before I head out the door to work. I added peanut butter for a bit of protein and flax seeds for additional fiber and Omega-3 essential fatty acids. What are some ingredients you like using for your homemade juice?

INSTRUCTIONS — Blend all ingredients together until the mixture is smooth; add more water or almond milk according to preferred consistency — Serve cold.
Bon Appetit!
