5 Instagram-Worthy Brunch Spots In Atlanta

Unquestionably, the most important part of any given weekend is brunch.
Call me basic if you must, but there are very few things that make me happier than some Eggs Benedict with a mimosa on a sunny weekend morning. But brunch isn’t really only about the food these days, is it? It’s all about the full experience: the atmosphere, the outfits, the crazy creative cocktails… and most of all, the perfect Instagram moment (again, you are fully permitted to call me “basic” at this point… I think I’m even rolling my eyes at myself). So for my readers who live in, or are planning a trip to, Atlanta any time soon – here are my Top 5 spots around the city to capture the perfect picture… while stuffing your face with some delicious food!
1. Bread & Butterfly
Inman Park • Café
When it comes to a great breakfast, brunch or coffee experience, Bread & Butterfly is the go-to spot in Atlanta. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’m there pretty much all the time, and the entire experience is always worth it: from the amazing, flaky croissants (the best in town, in my opinion), to the gorgeous, emerald green interiors… I’m always snapping and eating simultaneously, in true blogger fashion!
Make sure you grab a seat in the sunroom, especially when the weather is nice out! They’ll open up the doors, and you can have your meal with a view, right in the heart of Inman Park – one of my favorite neighborhoods!
2. Bartaco
West Midtown • Mexican
If you’ve ever wondered, “how early is too early in the day for tacos?” Bartaco is here to tell you that yes, there is a God, and wants you to have tacos before noon. With two locations in the Atlanta area (the other being in Inman Park), beautiful white-washed interiors with wicker basket details, and of course hands-down THE BEST tacos in town… you haven’t REALLY lived in Atlanta until you’ve popped into Bartaco on a Sunday morning… or a Friday evening… or lunchtime on a Wednesday, whatever floats your boat!
3. St. Cecilia
Buckhead • Italian
St Cecilia is located in the heart of Buckhead, Atlanta’s home to high-end shopping and ritzy dining. So, if you’re feeling a little less hungover and a little more fancy, St Cecilia is where it’s at! With a fresh-pressed juices and a menu that walks the line between Italian farmhouse and classic Southern favorites, this is one of my favorite places to go in town for birthday brunches and girl friend get-togethers.
4. Le Bilboquet
Buckhead • French
Another Buckhead favorite: if you’ve ever visited The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, you can’t miss Le Bilboquet… it’s basically like, the cutest little French dining oasis right in the center of all the high-end shopping action! With street-side seating lining the perimeter of the restaurant and an interior that is TO DIE FOR (hello, blue velvet couches), you’ll be sure to get a dining experience that’s a treat for your eyes AND your taste buds. My favorite thing off the brunch menu is the Eggs Florentine with Smoked Salmon. They’re also open for lunch and dinner!
5. The General Muir
Decatur • Jewish Deli
The General Muir puts a modern spin on the classic New York deli, with great breakfast options and tiled interiors that are to die for! I’m not out in Decatur very often, but when I am… this is always one of my favorite spots to pop in for breakfast, lunch…. or, ya know, brunch.
