Once upon a time, it was my last day of college, and I wasn’t sure what made me more happy: the knowledge that I’d never have to crack open another overpriced textbook, or knowing that never again would I ever have to don another one of those tacky pearl string necklaces my friends and I had to wear every year for our sorority composite headshots (admit it, you hated them too)…
I honestly never thought I would ever pick up another piece of pearl jewelry ever again… until I started seeing some of these gems popping up online. Pearls are definitely having a moment in fashion right now, and they sure as hell aren’t your grandma’s pearls! They’re youthful and edgy, while still maintaining the timeless element the stones have always been known for. Even better? You don’t have to break the bank to own a piece or two!
