My Off-Duty Self Care Routine with Uber Rewards

In an effort to live more mindfully, I’ve started putting a routine into my off-days and weekends, so that I feel a lot more prepared for busy days ahead. Thanks to my friends at Uber, I’m bringing you guys along on my off-duty self care routine, so you can see how I get around town while earning points with the new Uber Rewards program!

You guys might already know about Uber Rewards and remember that I was in the Blue Tier, but I’m super excited that since it launched (and because I’ve been doing lots of traveling and commuting around town), I’m now a Gold Tier Uber Rewards member! That means that on top of earning points on eligible rides or Uber Eats orders, as well as getting $5 Uber Cash for every 500 points earned, I also get priority support and flexible cancellations… which in turn, gives me more flexibility when I’m getting around town during the day. Signing up for Uber Rewards is free and easy, and you can do it right within your Uber app. You can learn about all of the benefits of Uber Rewards here.

Alright, now let’s get started on my off-duty self care routine!

8:00 am // grocery shopping

I used to think my mom was overdoing it when she spent her weekends meal-prepping for the week… but now that I’m a little more independent, I totally get where she’s coming from! When my fridge isn’t stocked for the week with healthier food options, I always fall into the bad habit of eating out and overspending on unhealthy food. Popping into the grocery store early mornings on my off-days before the afternoon rush is how I always start my mornings, and I make sure to bring my shopping list along with me so that I’m not forgetting anything or making spontaneous purchases! Would you guys like to see some of the recipes I prep for my week ahead?

9:30 // morning workout

Because of my busy schedule, I don’t work out as often as I should… but my weekend and holiday mornings are ALWAYS blocked off for a 1-hour sweat session at my favorite Pilates or Spin studio! It also helps when I book my classes well ahead of time, so that I don’t get lazy and back out on it last minute, ha! I’ll definitely be sharing some of my favorite places around Atlanta to work up a sweat… and the best part is, they’re all in-town and pretty close to each other, so requesting an Uber to make the quick ride over to the gym is my favorite way to travel!

12:00 // spa appointment

Alright, now we can get to the relaxing stuff! Between my nails, lashes and skin care, I try to space out my sessions in a way that ensures I’m not dropping loads of cash on my beauty appointments every week… but I do love my little self indulgence sessions 🙂 I got my nails done this week, just a quick manicure and polish change, to keep my my nails trim, healthy and looking great!

What are your favorite things to do to prep for a busy work week ahead? Are you in the Uber Rewards Gold Tier too, or any of the other ones? To find out, you can sign up for Uber Rewards in your app, it’s free! Learn more at uber.com/rewards. Terms Apply.
