Did I just commit the biggest fashion faux pas at Paris Fashion Week? Wearing sweatpants in public may be huge no-no in France… but I found the perfect pair of jersey pants that look dressed up… while I’m actually just as comfortable as I would be if I were lounging on my couch at home!
Uniqlo just released their U-Wide Fit Curved pants for women, that are designed with a gently curved cut that has a leg-lengthening effect… so if you’re on the shorter side and you think that wide-cut pants aren’t made for your body, your solution to that problem is finally here! On my first day in Paris, I wore the jersey version of these pants to all of my pre-show fittings and meetings. The fabric is essentially exactly the same material that some of my favorite sweatpants are made out of! So… YEAH, I basically just broke the #1 style guide of not wearing sweatpants in Paris… and no one could tell the difference because of how tailored and flattering Uniqlo’s U-Wide Fit Curved pants are. Fashion rules are made to be broken, and here’s to doing it comfortably!
