For the first time ever, I’ll be popping into NYC during fashion week this year! I’ll be honest though: it’s for a planned personal/business trip that has just so happened to have coincidentally fallen right in the middle of NYFW — but I still have my itinerary and wardrobe planned to match the mood and vibes of the city, and I’ll be taking a couple meetings, doing some solo exploring, and going to the NYFW rewardStyle event.

I’m clearly on a one-track mind when it comes to color palettes around this time of the year — but you can never really go wrong with taupe and burgundy in the fall.  Lots of online retailers have launched one-stop-shopping experiences to simplify the Fashion Week prep process, and I find mixing high-end and low-end pieces to be the best way to push the sartorial envelope, while still staying true to myself (and my budget, haha???).
