Working for the Weekend

I’ve been a reader and follower of several lifestyle and fashion blogs over the past years, and having finally started one of my own late last year, I sometimes wonder what the hell took me so long! It’s a fun hobby that combines some of my favorite past times (photography, fashion, baking, DIY projects, etc.), and I really wish I had the time to to create content more often… but c’est la vie. Like the average millennial girl, I’m working for the weekend… you know how that goes 😉

  

I bought this vest late last year (on Small Business Saturday) from Bill Hallman, a local Atlanta retailer that carries a wide variety of really great, contemporary apparel from American designers. My purse is a gorgeous vintage piece that I picked up from a consignment store. It reminds me a lot of the Proenza Schouler PS1 aesthetic, and I love how it translates easily from the weekday to the weekend.  This is the outfit I wore on my way to brunch at an Australian café… on that note, Happy belated Australia Day to my readers from down under!
