Trends come and go with each season, but if there’s one thing you can place your bets on year after year, it’s the pantsuit. With the perfect mix of comfort, versatility and professionalism in an industry that tends to take itself way too seriously… the pantsuit is always in every fashion girl’s Fashion Month wardrobe, in a variety of patterns, colors and fabrics.
So what’s the difference between a fashion pantsuit, and professional one that you’ll probably be wearing to your next job interview? Well for one, a fashion pantsuit is all about experimenting! Trying out fun, brighter colors and patterns make you instant street style photography bait – and as soon as I found a pantsuit in yellow, you know I had to pull the trigger… it’s my favorite color of the season! You might also notice that the fit on a fashion pantsuit tends to run a lot less form-fitting than a professional suit does… making it the perfect, comfortable outfit to spend a day running between shows and meetings in.
I don’t usually do much with my hair, because I love my effortless short bob as it is… but when Mane Addicts told me that they wanted to have some fun, I knew I couldn’t say no! To complement my look of the day, we did easy waves with the help of Ouai haircare products, and added scattered gold bobby pin detailing on one side. I can’t wait to recreate this look when I go to Paris later this month!
