 If you’re following along on Instagram, you probably saw that I spent some time at the Avalon Lou & Grey store a couple weekends ago, checking out their collection and doing a little Fall shopping after meeting the team in person at Create & Cultivate conference. I totally fell in love with their soft knits, rich fabrics and, most of all, SUPER wallet-friendly prices and I knew that I wanted to feature some of their stuff here for you guys… as well as in my closet, of course 

In addition to the super soft sweater I picked up during my in-store trip, this blue velvet dress came home with me, and I can’t wait to wear it through the holiday season! It’s work for family dinners, office parties and even nights out — depending on how you style it! I mean, there’s a reason there’s an entire song dedicated to blue velvet… right?
