Starting the week with another travel recap! Hope you’re all caught up on my Rome trip, because today we’re moving on to Madrid!
One of my favorite things about traveling, besides being in new and exciting places, is that I get to have so much more fun with my wardrobe. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll dress up for a day out in Atlanta any day… but it’s always just so much more fun when you’re doing it somewhere else! Madrid was super hot during our stay, unlike the rainy weather we saw in Italy… so I was all about the lighter layers and warmer colors.
We stayed at a hotel right on the Gran Via, with all of the Malasaña’s cute shops and restauarants a stone’s throw away… so there was so much for us to do right in our neighborhood! I’ll be honest — I was pleasantly surprised by just how much I fell in love with Madrid so quickly, it’s such a charming city! I’d heard so much about it, and kind of wrote it off because of how popular it was as an American tourist destination… but now it’s definitely on my list of places I wanna go back to!
Since we weren’t in Spain for any specific brand collaboration projects, we definitely took things a little easier and just enjoyed our time there.
