Ready for that investment purchase? Here some of my favorite designer fashion retailers to shop luxury from.

There are so many questions to ask yourself before making a fabulous investment in a designer purchase — no matter how big or small. Is it in stock? Is the item worth the investment? Can I find it at a better price? How quickly will it get to me? What if I buy it and don’t love it as much as I’d hoped?

Through lots of my own shopping research and experiences, I’ve narrowed down my favorite sites to shop luxury pieces from, and I’m sharing them here below! Whether it’s a total closet overhaul, or just a one-off special handbag you’ve been coveting for months, these e-retailers will have got you covered with easy shipping and return options, and some of the best prices on the market.

1. nordstrom

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I shop at Nordstrom religiously – for wardrobe, beauty, and home. They offer complimentary alterations and have arguably the best return policy possible. Nordstrom is also a partner of the 15 Percent Pledge, and committed to buying 10 times more merchandise from Black-owned or -founded brands by the end of 2030 to help create a more equitable retail and fashion industry.

2. mytheresa

The finest wools, silks, linens, and leather goods are available from this global luxury shopping site. They even have their own MyTheresa exclusive handbag drops which offer products that can’t be found anywhere else. Refreshing their new arrivals page is one of my favorite hobbies.

3. yoox

Yoox is part of the Net-A-Porter group and includes contemporary and designer items at often discounted prices. It’s demographic skews a bit younger and trendier and their curations always include something for everyone. They also have a great and affordable in-house brand that I love: 8 by Yoox.

4. ssense

If you’re looking for something avant-garde or trending on the streets of the Lower East Side of New York City, this is your place to go. They have great sales a couple times a year that I love to shop (there’s one happening now). Let your style spill out from your wardrobe to your favorite room at home with their eclectic array of home pieces.

5. the realreal

Did somebody say vintage? The RealReal is the perfect place to source some of the greatest pieces from fashion’s past, but don’t be fooled – you can snag more current styles, including pieces that are new with tags (like these gorgeous wide leg trousers from Stella McCartney), too.
