Come with me to the CHANEL show!
I’ve always had a million and one goals ever since I took the huge step to quit my corporate job and pursue a self-made career in fashion and media… but never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that I’d knock out such a major milestone so soon! The Chanel Fall/Winter 2022 show was such an incredible experience to attend in person this season, and I couldn’t be more grateful for an invitation from a fashion house I’ve loved ever since I discovered the world of fashion and haute couture. Younger me is 100% pinching herself right now!

For my show day look, I combined pieces that the Chanel team sent over, with pieces that I bought and love! My earrings are vintage from one of Paris’ most popular vintage stores: Valois Vintage, and my loafers were my Christmas gift to myself this past December. The tights are a beloved piece that I’m sure you guys have seen all over Instagram already, and I worked with a hair stylist and makeup artist to create my beauty look.

The Fall/Winter 22 show read as a love letter to Chanel’s most iconic motif: tweed. If you know about Chanel, you know that the house is known for their tweed pieces (especially jackets), so it was beautiful to see how creative director Virginie Viard re-interpreted the fabric for this collection and weaved it into every piece that came down the runway.
