These Hair Care Brands I Discovered on Instagram Really Work

I’ve always been hesitant about trying out trendy products I see on social media, because there’s so much more that goes into a GOOD product than a pretty Instagram picture… but over the past year, I’ve been adding Gisou & OUAI hair products to my bathroom counter, and my styling routine has never been easier! Here are some of my favorites:
ouai hair oil
I am super picky about my hair oils, guys, and after going through tons of brands… OUAI hair oil is definitely my favorite! The formula is light, and it leaves my hair smooth and glossy without weighing it down… plus, my hair actually feels moisturized after using it, not oily!
gisou texture comb
If you love a look of loose waves, a wide-toothed comb like this is definitely something you need at home! after my running a curler through my hair, I run my Gisou Texture comb through the curls to loosen them without ruining the wave pattern or frizzing my hair up. This comb is also great if you’re rocking your natural hair, because the bigger teeth on the comb won’t pull on your fragile hair! Here’s an affordable option too.

If you’re popping a daily vitamin, why not make it count? There are hair supplements for every type of hair problem — whether it’s dry, oily or thinning! Dry hair supplements have a boost of Omega 3 fatty acids, Iron and Vitamin E… all of which have great benefits beyond hair care, so even if your hair is as healthy as can be, you may still want to consider adding these to your self care!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably caught wind of Gisou’s Honey-Infused Hair Wash and Conditioner duo! I’ve just started trying it out it this week, and so far I’m loving it! It smells divine (it’s not honey-infused for nothing!), and I’ll definitely be keeping these on my shelf for my major hair moments.
